Well I had a huge surprise today! Kennedy, Landon, and I were sitting down for our breakfast and I asked Kennedy what day it was. She proceeded to tell me that it was Wednesday (it was actually Thursday) and I commended her on only being a day off. That's when my little girl recited the days of the week in such a matter of fact way. It was almost like she was saying, "gosh mom, I knew this all along!" Needless to say, I was very proud of her accomplishment! It feels so amazing when you think of the time that you put into your children and how it truly pours into their lives. They always seem to amaze me in the most unobvious moments!

Call me crazy, but isn't this a wonderful piece of art! I may be a little bias; however, I was super proud when she set out to paint Easter eggs and this is what she came up with. I absolutely love seeing her face full of excitement, joy, and self-accomplishment. She is geared up for this coming Easter and is inquiring about the Easter bunny. Last year she was not amused by the whole idea of a giant sized bunny approaching her - but this year I have high hopes that she'll find it quite fun! We are planning a trip into Ohio on the 18th and we'll be spending Easter with Nana. I'm hoping to coordinate a second cousin Easter egg hunt - I'm sure the kiddos would have a blast.

Landon Has Mastered Clapping!
Our little Landon has learned the beautiful expression of clapping! It may seem like a small milestone to some; however, to see his joyful face as he discovers this new found technique is awe inspiring! He melts my heart!

We Love You Daddy!!!!
To my sweetie,
As I watched you walk away this past Saturday, I felt as if part of me went along side you. I'm amazed at your love, I'm amazed at the way you father our two precious children, and I'm amazed at how God has given me my perfect partner in life. This time apart will have it's challenges; however, as each day passes, I know that we're one day closer to having our family together again! We are so proud of you! We love you!!!!
