Today you are...

FOUR!

My sweet sweet Landon ~

You are four years old today! Where did time go? It seems like yesterday when my life was forever changed with the birth of beautiful you.

Today you are the same amazing boy that I fell in love with the moment I knew there was a you.

Today you are determined and brave.

Today you are moving mountains around you and redefining norms.

Today you are my son who I adore!

Today you are YOU and I couldn't be more proud to be your mama!

Happy Birthday BIG Boy!

In His hands

This past weekend has brought Jared and I to our knees.

Our little Landon has had three grand mal seizures over the course of three days - they have all been in his sleep. His precious body has endured so much in such a short time. We are left with no answers; however, we are trusting that God will continue to lead us down the right path. We are going to the hospital tonight in hopes that an EEG can detect why this is happening and what we can do to treat his seizures effectively. Please pray for the doctors that surround us and for ultimate healing. Thank you to all of our friends and family for the support and love you have shown...we are blessed!

"You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth. You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again."

A Mother Is...

This day has taken on a different meaning through the years. I realize what a mother is...what a mother feels...what a mother fears...what a mother sacrifices. It's a day that I truly give thanks for my mother and the other women in my life that define the word and hold it close to their hearts.

She is Love

She is Compassionate

She is Faithful

Happy Mother's Day! We love you and thank you for everything you are in our lives!!

Walk On Dixie

This past Thursday night we had our weekly therapeutic riding lesson at Simple Changes. Landon continues to amaze me with his determination and willingness to learn. Hippotherapy has proven to be a great match for him and Landon is building great confidence and strength through it!

Every Thursday night, we are greeted to this beautiful place!

Sitting tall and handsome on Dixie

Miss K has been such a great encourager for Landon...she gets just as excited when he says a new word or learns a new skill.

Into the woods he goes!

Nolan discovered grass and dirt - he's hooked!

Loving those sweet freckles!

K and I spent the hour doing crafts and coloring - I adore this time with her!

Miss Sophia is amazing...her passion awe inspiring! She is such a blessing to us!

Hop to It!

Easter festivities this year were in FULL swing! After 5 weekend Easter egg hunts, a beautiful Easter service at church, and a delicious brunch with Papa Raftery, we headed over to the Anderson's for their Easter dinner - I lost count but I think we have spent 3 Easter's with them! The kiddos had a wonderful day and Mr. Nolan loved discovering all the goodies! With all the festivities aside, it was a day that reminded me of God's amazing goodness and favor in our lives - He is Alive!

Hoping along the bunny trail!

Mr. Landon hopped to it!

They were so proud of their finds...

and didn't miss a beat opening each and every one!

The Easter Bunny brought out all of their contagious sweetness!

At home, we hopped right to it and started decorating our eggs for the BIG EVENT the next day.

Nolan loved all the excitement as he bounced away

The kiddos were quite proud of the finished product!

Nolan was SUPER excited about his yogurt melts Easter day!

Nolan and Papa Raftery - so sweet!

I'm not sure which one is more kissable!

Happy belated Easter!
