I can't say I'm the craftiest gal around but lately I have had some ideas working up in this mind of mine!
First, I've been wanting to create my own wreath for some time. When I came across artificial oranges that were on clearance for 50 cents (yes 50 cents!!) my wreath came to life! Lets just say the hot glue gun and I had a killer time! It was fun to create something of my own and it's a great fall addition to our door. Here is a pic of the final product:
Secondly, since we've moved in to our new home, I've been trying to come up with inexpensive ways to add some pizzaz to our white walls. This is the project I will be taking under next week:
I LOVE IT! Our dining room will soon be adorned with this DIY chevron paintings.
Wish me luck :)

Your wreath looks great!
Hi Sam, Just wanted to say "Hi!" and a huge congratulations on your new baby (SOOOOO ADORABLE)! I still check in and read your blog all the time...Much Love, Jen-House of Krause
I'm loving it!! Can't wait to see how the next project turns out...and I'm pretty inspired to try out the orange wreath for myself. I need a wreath for the front door--yet tend not to like many. I love the simplicity yet BOLDNESS of yours. Fun stuff!
Lovin' the orange wreath and can't wait to see the chevron, I'm kinda' crazy about chevron right now!! :)
