My Pirate and Princess

another Beth original invite ~ thanks again friend!

It's hard to believe it's almost been three weeks since Miss K and Landon's birthday party! We sure had a blast! The best part was having all the grandparents in town celebrating another year that we've been blessed with!

My Pirate

and Princess were ready for their special day.

We rounded up all of Granny Smith's puppets

who were eager to greet all the guests to show!

The puppet show was such a hit! Granny Smith put together a pirate and princess skit that the kids absolutely adored.

Daddy's lap was the best seat in the house!

With a smile and a swing...

the pinata revealed some amazing treasures.

For the princesses...

and the pirates

Happy Birthday Princess K!!!

Happy Birthday Pirate Landon!!!

Thank you to all of you who made this day so special. We will truly treasure this birthday for years to come!

Where Dreams Come True!

FAMILY VACATION = Fun, Memories, Smiles, Laughter, Sleepless nights, Beautiful Moments, and a Whole Bunch of Love

The Raftery quad decided to take a much needed vacation to Disney World over Fourth of July weekend. Papa Raftery treated us to an amazing four days packed with memories that I will always hold close to my heart! Disney was magical! It's a place where every child can dream and a place where dreams truly do come true! Each day brought new adventures that brought the most amazing expressions to Kennedy and Landon's face. I've come to understand that their joy is so much a part of my joy! Thank you Papa Raftery for giving us a gift that will truly last a lifetime!

So Happy Together!

Last week, we welcomed some REALLY special people to Jacksonville to celebrate Miss K and Mister Landon's birthday (pictures to come soon)!

(in order of appearance)

The Whole Clan
(minus Auntie Evi who came in Saturday)

Miss K and Landon had no idea what to do with all this extra LOVE!

Gifts were plentiful this year (this is what happens when you bring 4 sets of grandparents in town!)

Landon and Kennedy sported some new Irish outfits from Papa Raftery

The shirt (not pictured) and kilt will definitely be a hit this Christmas!

We enjoyed a awesome brunch at our local Whole Foods before everyone headed back home.
Great Food and as always Great Company!

Our weekend was busy but a GOOD busy! We are truly blessed with the family God has given us...a family that values laughter, love, moments big or small, and time together.

We love all of you so much! Thank you for everything you put into Kennedy and Landon's special day! We will have these memories for years to come!

HAPPY BIG 4!!!

It seems like yesterday that we welcomed the beautiful you into this world.
We were new parents not knowing what the years ahead would bring!
But we knew one thing for sure, we were two parents so deeply in love with you!

Your precious BLUES
Your wonderful locks
Your gorgeous smile
Your contagious laugh
Your curious wit
Your loving affection
ALL the things that make you the WONDERFUL you!

Miss K ~ The moment you became my daughter, I knew there was something so special so unique so amazing about you. You have a zest for life, a giving spirit, and a nurturing heart. As each day passes, I am more blessed to have the opportunity to be your mother. You are my gift from the Lord sweet girl! May this year bring you happiness, new adventures, and beautiful memories!

HAPPY BIG 4!!!!

Happy Dad Day!

Why we love our Daddy so...

 because I love you
you take us to Panera
 you give us new shoes
you give us the famous "iron-claw", body slam, and "I'm gonna eat those pork chops"
you take us swimming
and you give us the BEST hugs!

love,
KENNEDY & LANDON

Jared - I love the way you love our children! I am blessed beyond words to have you as the father of our Kennedy and Landon. Their eyes light up when you walk in the room...their feet jump the moment they hear your voice...their laughs fill a room when you love them so! Happy Fathers Day to the man that fills my world and heart!

Dad - You were the first man that showed me what a father looked like. A man of unconditional love, strength, compassion, wisdom, character, truth, dignity, laughter, and support. You are an amazing dad and I want you to know that your example made me realize all that I deserved in a husband and future father. I LOVE YOU!

FOR RENT!!!!

As you can probably tell from my lack of blogging, we've been going going going ever since Jared got home! It's been awesome to have my second half back...he's quite the guy!

As the title may have you in anticipation (maybe/maybe not)... we have officially put our house up for rent. This past week has been BUSY with a huge capital B! It may seem like a 1,2,3 deal - take pictures and list your house. But that's oh so not the case. The market is a bit rough right now so we wanted to make sure our house was in tip top shape. I also believe that if you have things in order and looking beautiful you set the bar high and demand tenants that respect and love your property - again maybe/maybe not!

We still don't have orders; however, Jared is interviewing for a position in DC next week. If all goes well, we could be moving quite quickly so we are doing our best to be prepared. My heart is a bit uneasy as our days in Jax are numbered. I'm trying to focus on the brighter side but I can't help to think of all the memories our home has blessed us with! This home will forever have a special place in my heart as it was the first home Jared and I purchased and the home were both Kennedy and Landon spent their first years.

Here is the link to our listing!

3 + 1 = 4!

One of the most magical moments in my life was seeing my best friend walk of the plane. I've waited for this day for 6 months and it's here. It's no longer in 6 weeks or 6 days...it's right in front of me and I LOVE IT!!!

As a side note, I also have to add (not that any of you probably need to know this) but he looks HOT! Maybe it's the 6 months without seeing him or the new improved bod - whatever it is it's definitely working!

Here are a few pics documenting are amazing day!

Our sign was hung...

and our daddy's favorite brownies were made.

As we waited patiently...

anticipating daddy's return...

Poof! Our moment happened! He was here and he was ours to hold!

Our family is one and I'm thrilled to be walking alongside my best friend once again!

LOVE YOU DADDY!
Welcome Home!
